About Customer

The customer is well-known for creating engagement-led experiences for kids across online and offline mediums vis-à-vis internet, schools, out-of-home, entertainment. They have a dedicatedly designed world for kids, which is a virtual environment doorway created for kids who can fruitfully use computers and the internet to play games, watch educational videos such as National Geographic’s, Science Journals and much more) and gain knowledge about the insights. The virtual environment is an ever-evolving online ecosystem for kids, counting 20,000-30,000 users every month where they can live, express, and play. It is the first of its kind where toddlers can access all popular content in a world designed dedicatedly for them.

The Challenge

The customer’s website is popular with a large, ever-growing audience and they wanted the site to be highly available. In June 2014, after the website was triggering problems the customer began to look for a new service provider. They also wanted to deploy their application from the physical server to AWS to improve flexibility and scalability to easily support increases in the traffic volume.

The Solution

Blazeclan’steam of certified AWS Solution Architects conducted an exploratory analysis to study the current architecture of the applicationThis included an understanding of the –

  • The underlying infrastructure required to support the application on AWS
  • Deployment of the website on AWS.

Once the existing architecture was explored, Blazeclan’s team formulated a detailed deployment approach that included identifying the AWS service configurations, suggesting changes required in the application, and managing AWS deployments with the customer. Once the infrastructure was set up, Blazeclan team worked closely with the team for deploying their websites onto AWS. It also provides the customer with their managed competencies while migrating their architecting solution from .net app stack to PHP app stack to optimise the application.
